Setting Up POP3 / IMAP Email Addresses
Once we have confirmed that we have established the email account on our servers, then you can use the settings below to add that email account to your preferred email client:
Supported Email Clients:

Email Client Settings:
First go to the settings wizard in your email program and create / add a new account:
General Settings:
- Email Type: Choose POP3 or IMAP (IMAP requires space settings increased on Digcat's end)
- Display Name: your email display name (e.g. Bob Citizen or ABC Company Pty Ltd)
- Email Address: youremailaddress@yourdomain.com.au (i.e. full email address including @ sign and domain)
- Username: youremailaddress@yourdomain.com.au (i.e. full email address including @ sign and domain)
- Password: yourpassword
- Incoming (POP3 and IMAP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
Then:
>> for a desktop computer, use the following setting:
- Outgoing (SMTP) Server: use the mail server of your internet service provider (e.g. mail.bigpond.com - click here for the list of mail servers)
Or:
>> for a laptop computer, use the following settings instead:
- Outgoing (SMTP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au (i.e. same as incoming)
- In Advanced Settings / More Settings area, go to the advanced tab (or outgoing server tab) and change the number of the port for the Outgoing SMTP from 25 to 587 (do not touch the incoming server which should be 110 for POP3 or 143 for IMAP)
